First, let’s have a coffee and chat. We’ll need to learn a bit more about what you’re up to and the people you’re trying to reach. After we’ve learned about what you do and why you do it, we’ll write up a proposal. There is no cost to you for this, and includes lots of information, like a treatment, which explains our approach to your project, a proposed schedule, the cost to make your video, and project details.

If you like what you’re hearing and give us a green light, we’ll pull out some paper and start planning, write a script, draw storyboards, cast and plan. There’s a lot of communication at this phase, as this is the time to make a lot of important decisions about your project.

A lot of preparation goes into a great video shoot. When the day comes, we’ll have worked out exactly what we’re there to capture and how that will happen. We’ll also bring our friends–our team loves to shoot. We’ll even bring snacks.

We put a lot of attention into the finishing–or post-production–of every project. This is editing, but it’s also much more. It’s graphics, music, sound effects and mix, enhancing the colour and image, and preparing in the proper formats. We have a clear and concise revision process to make this stage as smooth as possible.

How much does a video cost? If we knew, we’d tell you right away. The truth is, until we’ve spent a little time learning about your project and understand all the resources that will be needed to produce your video, we don’t know how much it will cost.

There are a few factors that affect the cost of a video, including the creative direction of the video and the resources you have available. It takes a lot of really talented people’s time to make a great video, and we feel they should be paid fairly. There is also a lot of fancy camera equipment involved. Most of our clients want to grow, and are willing to invest the money to do things right.

How long will it take to make a video? This can vary a lot, but we’ve found that most projects need between four and eight weeks to complete. If you’re really well organized it can happen faster, and there are projects that do take longer, particularly if they involve animation. Rushing doesn’t improve a video, so we’ll create a schedule for your project that details when you can expect things from us and when we need things from you.

Who writes the script? Because all of us are different, you may want to be very involved in creating your video, or you may want us to look after most of the details. We’re happy to work with either scenario, and you have our word that we’ll deliver a great product.

We’re a small company, but have a skilled team with backgrounds in film, broadcasting, journalism, art, animation, photography, audio and design. We work together really well, and have a lot of fun along the way. If you think we can help you out, email or give us a ring at 877-320-3113.
